Graphic Watercolor Anime Tattooing
Lefteris Kokolios, also known as Lekó, is a street art artist from Ptolemaida, northern Greece and a member of 3MK.
He began his artistic journey with graffiti in 2004 and later studied at the School of Architecture at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). His early works were characterized by formalistic elements referencing graphic arts and urban art: bold black outlines, alternations of monochrome and vibrant colors, dynamic graphic flashes, lettering, and contemporary themes.
Soon, he expanded into new design surfaces, making the leap into textile design, clothing design, and tattooing.
Today, his artistic style, whether in murals and prints or tattoos, is continuously enriched with influences from architecture, illustration, and engraving. By combining the “modern” with the “traditional,” his works incorporate elements of both, creating compositions rich in colors, symbolism, and lettering, while always maintaining his distinct artistic identity.
Ο Λευτέρης Κοκολιός ,γνωστός και ως Lekό είναι ένας street art καλλιτέχνης με καταγωγή από την Πτολεμαΐδα και μέλος των 3ΜΚ.
Με εικαστική αφετηρία το graffiti το 2004 και μετέπειτα την αρχιτεκτονική σχολή Θεσσαλονίκης (ΑΠΘ), τα πρώτα του έργα χαρακτηρίζονται από φορμαλιστικά στοιχεία-αναφορά στις γραφικές τέχνες και το urban art: εντονότερα μαύρα περιγράμματα, αναλαμπές μονοχρωμίας και χρώματος, φλασάκια, lettering, σύγχρονες θεματικές.
Σύντομα εξαπλώθηκε σε νέες σχεδιαστικές επιφάνειες, κάνοντας το άλμα στο textile design ,το design ρούχων και στο tattoo.
Σήμερα, το σχεδιαστικό του ύφος, τόσο στα murals και τα prints, όσο και στο tattoo, εμπλουτίζεται συνεχώς με επιρροές από την αρχιτεκτονική, την εικονογράφηση και τη χαρακτική. Συνδυάζοντας το «σύγχρονο» και το «παραδοσιακό», τα έργα του ενσωματώνουν στοιχεία και των δύο, δημιουργώντας συνθέσεις πλούσιες σε χρώματα, συμβολισμούς και lettering, που όμως πάντοτε διατηρούν την ξεχωριστή καλλιτεχνική του ταυτότητα.
